Heres my desk setup. The only difference between then and now is that my PC has H20 cooling. You can see the parts for it in the background as well as my "Modding station" and older computers

my new fans for dual heatercore. mounted at top of lian li pc70

zalman ZM-MFC1 fan controller - front perspex panel swapped for modded 5.25" blanking plate

one photo shows the previous mounting - suspended by wire and no lid - an engineering marvel

oh and my £1 (for 4) screwdriver

lite-on 16 dvd burner 1693 sohw
9 fans , and one big fat hdd light
12in. cc uv lightbar
raidmax horizon case
raidmax rx-420 420w powersupply


And Now:
P4 3.2 478 Prescott sl7pn stepping revision E0 O.C.'ed at 3.56
ThermalTake BigTyphoon
same everything except:
1 5700 rpm 84.1 cfm tornado case fan
1 5300 rpm 40 mm northy fan


Next:
120mm fan for typhoon red led fan
3 redshroud and blue fin 80mm fans
1 more 12 in cc uv lightbar (for top)
red wire skin kit (everything)
2 74 gig Wd raptor SATA drives
1 asus 478 OC'ing MOBO
Digital fan controler/clock/temp monitor


OC'ed to 4 gigs air cooled
My first PC build and proud of her
Under 450$ invested now
I am also down about 6 from last time before the uprade
2-20
my b day and just became a member of the 4 ghz club with the addition on my asus p4p800e-deluxe also took off the typhoon and installed the beetle

My desk...has changed slightly. Have a second 19" LCD now and a shelf above the desk to keep stuff from piling up on the desk.
PC Specs: AMD 64 FX-55 (Air-cooled clocked to 3.01GHz)
4 GB Corsair XMS (2gb added after these pics were taken)
4x 74GB WD Raptors (2 drives added after these pics were taken)
Plextor 16x DVD Burner
Pioneer 16x DVD-ROM
Audigy 2zs Platinum
ATI X800 Pro (Modded & Clocked to XT PE)

So I got an Ultra X2 power supply, a new Kingwin case, a dremel tool, and quickly hid the evidence...



Then I added some cold cathode lights/fan, which made a bit of a mess in the lower left corner that I will have to clean up some day.



Still pretty clean, I think.



An up-close shot of the ATX power connector glowing from the UV. It disappears behind the motherboard tray because I cut holes in it.

And most importantly, my room and my new 19" LCD...
