Ok I figured out how to make BF2 use the joystick, but I can't set up the controls(I keep getting the same joystick settings for pitch left/right, ect.

How can I fix this? Can somebody give me a good joystick setup?

thanks

Well... you just enter what you want, and press apply... should work. Just use whatever controls you like I guess...

Ya, but I can't figure out which keys nto use for what. It keeps giving me duplicate keys for the same left/right controls too. I've never used a joystick before. This one doesn't twist btw.

Heres the joystick:

what you do is go into the aircraft control menu, and in the alternate colum, click, and then use the button on the joy.

I figured that out. If you read my other posts you'll see where I'm stuck.

When I try to set my roll left/right in the helicopter it keeps saying it's found duplicate controls in the helicopter controls, but there are none. How can I fix this?

I had the same trouble.... once that starts happening you have to start over. Go through and clear all your joystick controls then do the axis controls first.

Foward and back will both be set to the same axis and so will left and right.... You want one of them to match your mouse axis controls( ei axis 0 and axis 1) if you get any other numbers when you configure it you are going to be all backwards.

Ok thanks. Works fine with the chopper(but now I realise the mouse is better for that anyways), but the acceleration doesn't work for jets. Any idea why?

Don't ask why unless you want to join them.
What I did was remove all preset key assignments (ESC I think). And then set them to what I wanted. DontBafraid has it also.

Dont forget to go into the control panel and calibrate the thing! Maybe thats why your throttle isnt working......

hope i helped!
