Did I miss something?

Uh... I've had this name for probably 2 years or so... I was away from the forum for a few months... and when I came back it says I'm a newbie all the sudden, I can't change my signature or my avatar and I can't even see sections of the forum that I remember being there before. My friend was away for awhile too, now he doesn't even have a name on here... we're both a little confused being that we probably had a few hundred posts before we left so we should be pretty far from the newbie level.

If you had those posts in the non-tech sections they now no longer count for your postcount. < 100 posts makes you a forum newbie. Being a forum newbie restricts your access to a sig, custom avvy and user title, and certain sections.

As for your friend losing his account, good chance Jason pruned unused accounts, no need to have an account if you're only gonna drop in once a year.
