Opteron 1** DUal Core CPUS to start shipping when?

hey,

On the online retailers they have it listed for just under $400 CAD, and Im really eager to get it, since Im going to be ordering my whole machine at once , but Im just curious about when do you think the 165 or so will start to be shipping again so I can get one ? thanks or is there any official release date?

We "got" them in today (showing up after 5PM or so) so they'll re-ship tomorrow morning. I'm not sure on steppings yet, as I haven't got them in hand quite yet.

And yes, we are a retail store as someone prior already mentioned, and yes, we'll ship to Canada. We only ship to CA by USPS though, so if you pick FedEx, it'll ship by USPS anyway

We had to pay a bit more for these than the last few batches, so we had to raise the price. We also got hit for a huge chunk of fraud a couple weeks ago, so we had to raise a few prices here and there to try and recoup some loss.

That being said, we're charging $330 right now, our cost was $310 per. By the time you factor in Credit card fees (Almost $9) and other overhead, we are making *very* little on these.

has anyone ordered from tank guys? Just want to know his reputation. and are theere are duties or fees Id have to pay if I ordered from you, shipping to Canada I mean? and RMA or defects, how would I get it back to you?

The HSF is actually pretty ****ed decent for a stock one, once you replace the fan.

yeah im aware, except... i have watercooling, i have no need for it, thats why i wanted to get the OEM version... :/

yeah, and is there going to be OEM? because on NCIX.com they had OEM versinons of the processor but then disapeared in a few days... hmmmm, but are the prices expected to rise?

Our prices won't rise on these, at least not for the ones we have in stock right now; we don't work like that

Second, Canadian orders WOULD likely be responsible for duties and taxes and such. When we ship, we *only* charge for the shipping fees, no duties. When we label the box, we always put the exact amount and contents on the customs declaration label, so you'd likely get hit and have to pay taxes/duties on that.

The other snag is that we can't provide tracking numbers for those orders, as the USPS doesn't support tracking international orders.

Finally, for returns, they work the same as anyone else, you could just ship it back to us and we can refund your money. We likely couldn't exchange since we won't have any left. However, we could do a refund in the case of a defective chip, but note that we don't refund for chips burnt up during a failed OC, and we don't refund for chips that just don't OC well

EDIT: Oh, and they are RETAIL, not OEM. We don't even sell any OEM stuff anymore (I don't think... )
