Angry My machine doesn't seem to be stable at all anymore when overclocked??....

hey,

Im having some really wierd issues at the moment. So far I am pinpointing it at my RAM because it will barely even post at 250MHz, and that is when it is at 2.9Volts and that is the maximum I want to go..... This is really starting to frustrate me since This stuff is pretty new, For a bit I had my machine at 2.7GHz at around 1.54 volts, but I couldn't seem to get it stable So I dropped it to 2.5GHz, and it ran like a charm, now all of suddgen Prime fails in 1 minute of operation with EXACT settings (I have them saved in my cmos...) Also it will barely even run if my ram seems to be over 200MHz, especially when I use a divider... Which is quite annoying. Also when I am at 2.6GHz and run prime, after about 2 hoursd I get 100 warning... and I don't have a clue what the problem is... This is getting on my nerves, Im just curious can I point this at my RAM, I ran memtest for 1 1/2 hours today before I needed mymachine and there didnt seem to be any errors... how long should I let memtest run? thanks... this is getting quite frustrating...

on mem test I would let it run over night. you can go My Computer Manage Event viewer system and see what errors your system is reporting. and that may get you closer to your problem
