Back to folding

Hey guys, just set up both my pcs to fold once again(2800xp/2400xp), for EOC ofcourse . Looking to biuld a "low budget" P4 rig too(never made a pentium pc, want something diff to play with).
Anything different now that can make it faster? I havnt folded in over a year i believe :O.

hey, nice to have you on board.....as i just started folding myself a bit ago, i'm not sure there is anything that'll make your wu work faster, other than a pent4!!!!!

Check out rig range 2ghz P4s. That or lower 3ghz CPUs. Try the forums for used one. Used parts will obviously build the cheapest rigs. Try to look for 512mb of ram, you shouldn't need more for one instance with a QMD work unit.

I'm having a good browse through ebay right now, I have to admit im not quite sure what exact things are compatable. Ive only ever used AMD for my custom pc's, only intel cpu in this house is my sisters 650mhz P3 :O

stick with socket 478 motherboard and CPU
that paired with 2x256mb PC3200
