current rig (new one for this case is on the way)
VNF3-250 3200+ newcastle 9500pro (6800nu toast) 40 gig WD caviar sata. I guess i should have tried reseting cmos, but my old psu works just fine. Additional Comment: Nothing has worked, ive request a RMA. Last edited by paulgezon : 01-30-2006 at 07:52 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

Ifyou unplug the meter you won't get the beep. It's the meter tellying you there is power. Your PS is working as it should.
Additional Comment: Just saw the other post... Does the PSU run your system? Or are you concerned about the BEEP? Last edited by Steve50_a : 01-31-2006 at 02:23 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

After unplugging the meter did you reinstall the jumpers? If you left them un connected the fan will not run & the PSU will shut down. There are 2 jumpers. The manual may help you with this problem.
What MB are you using? Case? you could have it miss wired. Another thing to try is starting the PSU with a jumper, green to black ( ATX 20-24 pin connector ). There is a guid for doing this on this site. |
