Re-hooking up a rotary compressor

I've got this compressor from the a/c that would have been a chiller if I hadnt cancelled that. Its going to become my ghetto-vacuum pump till I nail down $150 ish. Only problem, I have the wires and switches, and jumpered thermostat from the compressor in my left hand, and the compressor is downstairs.

So now exactly which wires go where. (Most of the wires are disconnected within the heap) Can anyone take a picture of there cap/switch/crap setup?

That's good I'll mimic that and see if it starts.

EDIT: Hmmmm it's a bit different.
Drewmeister, its a rotary from the sears 5150 btu ones. Got any pics of that wiring? Looks similar to the above but just different enough for me to be an idiot.

I'll post up a pic when I charge my digicam. Sometime tommorow probably. I think i screwed it up as its not starting.

Additional Comment:
Woooot I got it. When I jumped the thermostat 5-6 months ago, I pushed the clips into each other then taped wiht electrical. The time the wires wripped out the jump also wripped apart. There was just no power going to compressor.
I flipped switch on and I heard something then I put it off.

The suction has a schraeder brazed on, hopefully I can ghetto vac and purge with coleman propane 2maro!

You can push those female connectors together inside each other and crimp them...kinky...Then tape it up good. I pushed 14gauge wire into them and crimp them. You may want to put something over the discharge to contain any oil. Good Luck!

What would you suggest?

If there is too much oil in the crankcase it will spit out of the exhaust. Some spitting will always occur and it is best to have the unit exhaust through a tube into a small container stuffed with lint-free rags. This will contain the expelled oil and will also limit the amount of mist introduced into the air.

Good idea, I already knwo I lost about 20ml of oil when the rotary fell over bringing it here, I turned it on after removing the little thing from inside the access valve and it seems to be sucking just fine.

Yay, I may get this setup brazed, purged with propane, vacd, purged again, then vacd today.
I'll get r507 soon
