Oh yeah, nice area...ditto on the city thing in general, can't seem to get out of them for work though.

How about those Epsilons? Just to get back on topic

Just a few more questions before I go out tomorrow to buy this PSU, with regards to them being uprated from 15A on the 12V rail have FSP changed the actual design of the PSU or are all the models still in stock capable of that?

Then the other thing that does concern me again because lack of knowledge is will the 12v rail for the PSU be able to cope well with a dual core Opteron 170 overclocked to say 3GHz? The reason I ask is I've just removed the IHS from mine and it does just under that so hopefully so will his.

Thanks for all the comments I'm just about there now. :-)

The innards have not changed on the Epsilons - they've had the overcurrent protection set at around 22A on each 12v from the start. A dual core Opteron should fall well under 15A.

They have simply been able to re-classify (further testing I suppose) the rails so all models are good for 18A.

The Opty should be just fine with this. Of course just because yours does 3 GHz does not mean his will. I'm sitting at 2.5 all stock volts & air and am quite happy with that for a while yet. I will probably see just how far it will go on stock volts just to see, but don't intend to go with higher volts for a while yet.

OW beat me to it :-)
