you do not have to set affinity. even if you do, it will reset when a new wu is dl'ed...which to me seems a waste of effort.
are you running a dual core or an HT rig? dual core should be no problem, as windows will offload the F@H threads to the inactive core |

I'm running a dual core Opty. I guess there is no problem then. I'll ask the automatic affinity setting some where else, since it's not a folding question. Thanks Ak.

)btw, i dont set affinity on my xeons and i havnt had a problem (even with 4 logical cores) |

I didn't have to set up affinity on my AMD X2. I did have to make the 'machine ID' different on the two instances of Folding that are running.
