ok, thanks.

What about VCore, the guy I bought my E6300 off said it could go up to 2.8GHz on default volts. Also, what is FSB Termination Voltage? The manual doesn't help much.

Not sure what FSB termination voltage is, you'd have to wait for a response from someone else.

You know, I haven't an idea what it actually does, I would of thought it terminated the fsb voltage (i.e. MCH) at 1.5V but that would be silly. The higher it is the better it is for overclocks, that much I do know.

PCI Clock Sync Auto or 33.33MHz
Memory Voltage Auto, 1.8V-2.1V
CPU VCore Voltage Auto, 1.3V-1.9V
FSB Termination Voltage Auto, 1.2V or 1.3V

What is the default PCI-E Frequency? I'm thinking 90, 100 or 133MHz.
I probably need to lock PCI to 33.33MHz.
Is Corsair XMS2 ok up to 2.1V?
What CPU VCore are people setting between 350-400FSB?
What is FSB Termination Voltage? is it NB voltage?

Any suggestions on this would be greatly welcomed.
i have the same ram as you and i have had it at 2.2 with out any problems
and i still cant get around the 330 wall are there any boards out that can do it?

if your voltage is really only 1.16 volts, you've got yourself a hell of a chip. Up that to around 1.45, and you should see a really big inprovment in clockspeeds.

What air cooling you use? 1.45 Should be ok so the cpu could last like 5-8 years. I use 1.52 actual 1.55vcore set in bios for 24/7 use. Dont care if this 6400 will last less then 3 years But temps are a bit high with this vcore Asus probe reports 60c idle and 72C load with Shte ninja. Some how i think its bull since it only raises 12c from idle to load. Did you try 1.6Vcore yet AK? For few min it should be fine.

i'm not on air...i'm on water, TDX block, enhiem pump, triple 120mm rad

asus probe shows 35ish C load at 3.15GHz 1.375v

highest vcore i tried was 1.475v and i could run 01 at 3.42GHz but not 05

*chuckles* yeah, I don't tihnk i'd go as high as 1.6 for 24/7... this is a 65nm chip after all. But 1.55 seems to be pritty safe, so see what you can get with that, and then go to 1.6 for your bench runs.
