What has been crashing ever since? Windows? If so, just re-install Windows as the OS probably became jacked when it noticed the speed change.

try clearing cmos
it will be under Clear RTC RAM in the manual
if you don't have the manual ASUS website has it

I would give you the settings but I cooked this broad in a drunken hard drive incident last year

thanks guys for the help, both of you, but my problem is complicated. I have reseted the bios....that gives me 100(default) x11 (multi for cpu). this setting works but only produces 1100mhz, i have goten it to 133x11 for ~1460mhz. I must be missing something in the bios because 166x11(stock) doesnt work. it shows the bios, the cpu, counts the ram and stops. The next thing that should show would be the ram speed in mhz but never gets that far.

the chipset (Nforce2 is good for 400mhz) and the ram ( 1 stick of samsung ddr3200) both are rated for more than what i'm acheving. I know its not a ram compatibilty issue because it was working before up to a FBS of 195. I'm stumped, if its not to much troble could some one screen shot there bios settings with your bios version, much appereciated
