Oh. I thought you meant just take it out of the motherboard/hsf. I was gonna say, you just have to pinch the thing

But, youre right, they are probably harder to actually take apart completely.

Latest on my overclock with new F8i bios.

I hate the temps I get load, the cores get up to 58C but if they have been chilling at load then both cores are ~54C.

I might try this mod, http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=117054.

My PPD is going to be in the crapper because I am doing all this stability testing.

My first core is getting up to 60*C load on stock voltage!, I think I might switch to stock cooling until I get the parts for the mount mod in the link above, you think stock cooling will produce better temps?

Also I think my Infinity is not in all the way. When I reseat my heatsink, how should I pull the LGA 775 push pins out, should I just pull them out of the board or what?

Additional Comment:

I put the stock cooler on with AS5 and my temps were better with the infinity half hanging off.... UGH it took me forever.

I am getting 67C tops load, is that safe enough to run 24/7 F@H until next weekend when I can buy the stuff for the inifinity?

NO. I would recommend just running it stock until you get the new stuff. Or, put the infinity back on, and lay your case down on its side to stop the hanging off issue.
