Also go over to XS they do not allow promoting other teams in there forums or posting other team numbers..

the reason we have teams is to add a little spice to folding with some compitition, so don't ruin it by promoting other teams...

ya but does that mean someone with a lesser score doesn't care about curing diseases?

that's like having a competition to see who can not die the most. isn't just doing something good being enough?

someone with a lesser output per week is just not as (a.Dedicated or b.financial limited or c. Just not NUTS like some of us )

If there werent teams and users, I bet there wouldnt even be half as many people doing it. Of course curing diseases is the aim, but the competetive edge adds some fun to it also.

No competition brings prices down the same way gas stations on opposite corners will try to go a penny or two lower than the other. The reason that stanford is able to get people like us to fold is that there is some small benefit for us too(ie points and rankings) as incentive.

your thinking as competition as going against each other to get lower prices. wrong. competition in the pharmacy is just everyone trying to make more money then the other guy.

$300 for one of my grandmom's 4-week prescription? when i went to canada they my parents saw the same prescription for $40(USD). competition my ***...

prescription drugs are much cheaper in other countries b/c they aren't going against as much "competition."

insurance makes the medical industry prices rise and lawsuits etc i agree competition makes folding fun and you shouldnt post advertisements to other teams here

Drug prices in the United States are as high as they are because they know Americans and American Insurance companies will pay the money. It's just like college text books. You can buy the exact same textbook in England for half the price you pay in America.

well at least for colleges they use the money u use to pay for the books towards the school update facilities and etc.

but paying more for a perscription drug that's more elsewhere(foriegn) only raises the drug maker's suspicion if they shud raise the price even more if they're already willing to pay that much already.

Most bookstores are not owned by the University.....many are owned by Barnes and Noble and other bookstores so the profits do not go to the University for anything. All the university gets is the money for the lease of space to the bookstore.

My units seemed to be going quicker until the past three days. Two days ago I received a 32 point wu that took 24 minutes per step!?!

i used to always get 400 for a WU, now they're almost ALWAYS 2500. they take much longer.

well i generally get 500 or 250 alot when i first install it (re-install alot). so im guessing that alot of ppl did 1-10 wu and gave up cause they got a big one, leaving a hole lot of the big ones.
