Like-wise... Ill admit, if its really Mac OS X Compatible... and the inclusion of Safari w/ Bluetooth, Wifi and Edge...

Thats a pretty impressive package.

Props for looking sweet.
Props for getting the right features.

Big Props if it works as well as it claims!

Yeah, it will be interesting, the one downside is it's Cingular/AT&T only.

I haven't found Apple to be innovative when it comes to gadgets.

This phone is just a bunch of technologies put into one.

Well if they're so freakin awesome why don't they have a pull-start fm radio 12GB waterproof solar-powered dualcore bluetooth capable toaster watch?

Apple quotes 5 hours of battery life for talk or video, with a full 16 hours in music mode -- no word on standby time yet.
3.5-inch wide touchscreen display with multi-touch support and a proximity sensor to turn off the sensor when it's close to your face, 2 megapixel cam, 4GB or 8 GB of storage, Bluetooth with EDR, WiFi that automatically engages when in range, and quadband GSM radio with EDGE. Perhaps most amazingly, though, it somehow runs OS X with support for Widgets, Google Maps, and Safari, and iTunes (of course) with CoverFlow out of the gate. A partnership with Yahoo will allow all iPhone customers to hook up with free push IMAP email

From the article I linked to. ^^

It is pretty much everything rolled into one. 11.6mm thick, it will be interesting to see how it holds up.

wow...amazing! Apple does it again. This will undoubtedly be the best phone of the year.
I like the nice "Patented!" jab there...I bet it was aimed at M$ since they patented the click wheel before apple did lol.

I'd like to know how loud the speaker is and if this will work on Tmobile...I'm sold

Hea, its pretty cool

Overall I was VERY dissapointed with the keynotes presentation today. IDK who keeps track of it, but there were only two things announced.
iPhone, and Apple TV

NO word on software at all. ah well. We'll see sooner or later.

The iphone looks pretty awesome though. I think it is a BIT expencive. If it was released TODAY i could see them charging that price for it... but in 6 months? (when its actually being released)

Well, I thought the most interesting thing was they renamed themselves Apple, Inc. instead of Apple Computers.

iPhone looks cool... I was really pleasantly surprised by the usability of my macbook... no troubles with it whatsoever, and it's the first laptop I've ever used where I'm only inclined to plug in a mouse to play video games...

Looks like with the iPhone I can do most of the things I would usually bring my laptop along to do. Too bad about the price, but I suppose it is chock-full of goodies...

Heh... it reminds me of the PDA from Doom 3...

I may well get one.
