Niceness... Very nice rig, loving everything about it... with the exception of the subwoofer placement. Needs to be on the ground. Other than that, 9/10!

very nice, but your bench scores are horribly CPU limited at the moment. Squeeze a little more juice outta that chip!

Also if you stick the woofer in the corner of the room, you will get a more boomier bass sound. Some people don't like that, but if you can, you should give that a try. |

more juice
I've tried increasing the voltage to the cpu and the northbridge/southbridge, but with only limited success.
From what i can determine, from the comments of others on the web, the fsb on the mobo i'm using can't be pushed beyond the 330 mark, and there is no control over the cpu multiplier. I am going to attempt to update the bios(daunting prospect) once my floppy drive arrives in the mail in the hope thaty this might improve matters. I just wish i'd bought the P5b asus motherboard instead, which by all accounts is a great overclocking board. I hadn't heard the rumours either of the imminent release of the 680 chipset from nvidia when i purchased my mobo. Oh well, i guess that whatever system you put together it will always be outdated almost as soon as it's built, and perhaps the more important factor is how long it will keep doing what you want it to do, and play the latest games without compromising gameplay. Lately I've been playing medieval 2 total war with all settings maxed out...awsome.... Don't get me started though on BF2142, amazing game, but a nightmare to get connected to one of the online servers...
