upgrading
so im upgrading my p3's monther boards to support 4x/8x so that i can over time my new video cards for each. will there be any major lose folding on a gpu on a p3 as compaired to a p4 with an agp card? |

yeah I would highly recommend AGP 4x if you're going to be doing GPU folding with an AGP card.
A P3 will be able to handle the load of the card. Hell, I'm thinking about slapping a x1900PRO AGP in a dual celly 333@550. I wouldn't recommend running a client on a P3 that's handling the GPU folding unless you have it set to low prioity and around 25% CPU time requested (To be on the safe side... dont wanna choke that GPU) |
