EMIII Skin...

Not quite sure if this belongs here, move it if need be mods, but...

I'm working on a (in my opinion) kick *** EMIII skin for EOCF. Tiny, to the point, sleek, and EOCF branded... I'll hopefully have it done tonight, but just wanted to let people know it's coming...

I hate the stock EMIII skin, so thats why I'm making this one... I sort of modeled this one off of AIM Lite...

Well, it's done for now. I may add a few things like changing buttons on hover and press, things like that, but I believe it's fully functional as is. And of course, fixing any bugs that come up.

Let me know what you guys think, hopefully you like it.

Cool. Does EMIII work on SMP cores? It gets confused with the GPU, and I''ve been too lazy to set up Samba on the VMware or native 64 bit Linux systems. Just installed and started them folding.

You know I'm not really sure. The other day I read somewhere that it can handle Linux setups on local machines, something along those lines, but I haven't tried it out. Basically EMIII is the most comprehensive monitoring program, so theres a good chance it will work...

I can check it out on the native setup without much trouble, for the VMware systems, I might need to reconfigure the machines network settings, make them a little easier to see. The NAT makes some odd IP selections for you.

Apparently EMIII doesn;t like the SMP readouts either.

I think this is because of the message truncating when it starts a WU.

I have not been able to get EM3 running with the smp stuff yet, but i hope they come up with a fix for it, i do miss being able to monitor all my rigs with it. But that skin does look good Dswarp.

Yeah, I like the skin too! Unfortunately I had to switch to FahMon because I wanted to track progress on my SMP rigs. I don't like it nearly as much, but at least it works with SMP, and now it also calculates PPD.

If anyone wants, I could do custom skins for all. Easiest would be making that same skin a different color, but if you dont mind waiting a little, I could make whatever you want. Just dont expect instant turn arounds

I like the one you have up there, but maybe make the progress bars a different color & easier to see.

I'm not sure, maybe just different shades, not the purple/green though. I really didn't have a color in mind, just something easier to see as in more of a contrast.
