ATI AGP 1650 Pro Vs EVGA 6800 Ultra

my son need a video card so I will give hem my old 6800 ultra, so I need to get a new video card and for money problem I canít upgrade to a new computer so I have to stay with AGP For 2 more years maybe, will I see any improvement if I get the ATI AGP 1650Pro over my 2 year old 6800 ultra, I want to go ATI This time, I need it for HTPC no gaming

X1650 generally is smaller and uns cooler than that 6800u. Of course, the 6800u is much better in terms of performance.

For gaming the ATI would be a step back, but for HTPC it'll definitely be a couple steps up. The 6800U doesn't support H.264 decoding. I downloaded a 1080p H.264 trailer and ran it on my 6800U - SLIDESHOW! The x1650Pro should actually be able to play it.

am search Google to see the full specification of the ATI 1650 cause I want to find out what video decode the ATI does and I can’t find it, does anyone have a link?

just wait a couple more weeks for prices to fall as the r600's are released..... then pick up a second hand x1800xt or x1900xt on ebay...
