Opera and EOCF Quick Reply - Solution Found

This one is kinda bugging me badly. I've recently switched to Opera and found it to be 10x faster. However lately I've been getting annoyed that when I make a Quick Reply in EOCF, I push tab after posting my message and it goes to the Go Advanced button and push Enter on accident because of old habits.

Is there any way I can make it post a new message instead?

ZOMG THIS MUST MEAN FF > OPERA : LET THE WAR BEGIN.

In all seriousness, i find that odd. i was under the impression that browser tabbing and such was all handled by the OS.

Im not even sure what you mean but my opera has been working perfectly for years now. you must have done something in the settings in order to make it do something strange like that.

No it does it by default. For example as I type this message, I push TAB on my keyboard and it automatically highlights the Go Advanced button. I have to push SHIFT+TAB to go to the Post Quick Reply button. I know it's not a setting I've done because I'd remember setting something like that.

You should post it on the opera forum so they can investigate the problem.

Yay I found the solution. If you go to the page properties (Tools -> Quick Preferences -> Edit Site Preferences) on the Network tab, change the Browser identification to IE and it seems to work just fine. .
