Why not make it out of silver instead? I thought silver had better thermal conductivity properties... (erm, in english that means: Silver conducts heat better, at least that's what I thought).

Although a gold heatsink with a gold-painted fan would like mighty pimp, lol.

You could always just get a good coper one Gold Plated then ya got Pimp and good thermal conductivity

platinum has some of the best heat dissipation numbers of any metal.. but there is a price for it.. TOO MUCH!

Diamonds.. well I dunnoo...

I was thinking the other day.. MARBLE.. that **** is always cold.. even in a fire marble stays cool.. so I wonder if they made a marble HSF how well it would work.. u would have to mount it horizontally but I bet it would work..
