DIfference between P5K DELUXE & P5K
P35. I believe I have narrowed it down between these 2 P5K Deluxe and the P5k I dont see that much difference that is worth $100 from the P5k to the P5k Deluxe. Im hoping someone could shine some light on this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...131182&bop=And I plan on OCing to about 3.6 to 3.4 E6750 2gb ram dont know what speed yet.. any ideas are appreciated motherboard ? 8800gts 320 antec 900 |

P5K: only J-Micron RAID, 1 less PCIe x1 slot, 1 less ethernet port, 2 less sata ports, different onboard sound, no wifi, no voltage damper
The P5K will do what you want for sure. But the biggest advantage of the Deluxe is the voltage damper in the bios. It reduces the vdroop u nder load to <10mv which I think is huge if you plan on trying for max OC. But I have seen where some people have achieved huge FSB OCs with the P5K. If you don't care about wifi, the extra ethernet port and don't plan on using raid then the P5K should be your choice. |

kinda really sucks that they haven't included the ADI AD1988B Audio chipset in the P5k.
