Ga-p35-ds3r...
I got another semi-problem, sometimes when I restart using windows, it gets to the Gigabyte logo screen and it just kinda freezes there, the top left corner kinda flickers repeatedly like its refreshing. But its fixed when I click on the reset button on my computer. So restarting with windows doesn't really work. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem. |

Stock? What's That?

The Gigabyte Logo Screen has nothing to do with Windows, it is the POST and has everything to do with your hardware. If it is shutting down, restarting and going into Windows, then it is most likely a BIOS setting that is too high. The board resets the FSB automatically to stock when that happens.

I found my board would endless boot on certain settings especially after setting extreme for memory timings...now not sure which bios setting did what but after i disabled legacy usb mass storage and disabled hardware dep in bios, my board would pretty much boot at anything. Also i noticed my board hangs if i have my usb external connected during post.
