Has anyone tried RF Online?

yeah i played it when it came out a year and a half ago, if you like MMO's that you need to grind to get levels its for you. PvP is promising but fails, and it gets boring pretty quick.

For some reason I thought it was a relatively new game, or is there another similarly titled MMO, the pictures I looked at were in beta stages and I don't think it was that long ago, or maybe I was just misinformed.
I might just stick to FPS! I have CoD 4, UT 3 and Crysis to get on with plus you can always alt+f4 at anytime. :P Last edited by Superip342 : 11-24-2007 at 07:45 PM. |

its not a new game at all, it was released for retail late February last year. I was even in closed beta before it came out.
I quit the game 3 months later, and heard it was re-released as a free MMO. |

Ah, I just went a crusade to find the topic on another forum from about 6months ago, I'm such a dumbass! It was Tabula Rasa I was thinking of, abbreviated to TR Online by the guy I was talking to, that's why I was excited to see it was free...
Now that does look good... Here!

i've been trying top play more, but the d@mn thing keeps crashing to the desktop on me after about 5 minutes in game. feels a lot like FF XI so far, control scheme feels slugish and a touch annoyed...but im used to WoW so i'll let it go till i get used to it more.
::EDIT:: now that ive read the post above me i see its not abour RF at all...oops

yeah, RF Online is buggy....and a real cr@p alternative to WoW, but its free.

I had a few friends that played it in highschool but I never jumped on the bandwagon. I do know its very fun at first but after a week it gets old.
