Catalyst 7.12 problems

Any one else having issues with Catalyst 7.12, specifically in Call of Duty 4?
I'm using the MSI HD3850 OC edition and before I installed the new drivers I never once had problems. After the install I had issues with the game locking up and had to hard reset my system. I figured that the drivers were the problem so I reinstalled Catalyst 7.11. I haven't had any lockups after reverting back to 7.11. I also upped my Opty Overclock to 2.75 (after the lockup problems, just to be sure it wasnt CPU related) and have been priming for the last 10 hrs with no problems whatsoever. I haven't got around to running memtest yet, but Im almost positive it is NOT RAM related.

I installed my HIS HD3870 on xmas eve (fresh install of Vista) , used the Ati Hot fix drivers for Crysis - had no probs....with COD4 demo. Installed 7.12 - had no probs with Crysis or COD4 or MOH airborne or Oblivion. I havent tried the 7.11 as I would expect them to work since 7.12 works on my machine. Even when I am overclocked to 3ghz I have no problems. Is your HD3850 overclocked ? Try cpu and gpu at stock, maybe.

Catalyst 7.12 & 7.11 does give problems with Rhapsody. If your rhapsody music player does not work -stating DRM problems-then you need to uninstall CC & driver & install CC 7.10.
