Help to maximize home server ppd?
The cpu is max'd and the system stats are: AMD 64 3400+ 2.20 1gb ram Win Srvr 2k3 sp1 I put an ati 1950 video card in there but there aren't any Win 2k3 server drivers for it meaning that I can't keep the gpu client running so had to resort to the client. Should I be looking at vmware to better maximize my system? Suggestions? ps - gaming rig is P4 3.2ghz running gpu client on ati 1950, best to keep as is? |

Is it a 939 or 754? A simple upgrade would be getting a dual core and running SMP on it.

Have you tried installing the XP drivers in compatibility mode?
If not, try right-clicking on the latest installer executable, selecting properties - compatibility, and select Windows XP. Make a backup before you do this since I have not tried this myself. The other option is to try the Omega or NGO modified drivers. |
