Swiftech MCW5000 Released

Yet another waterblock from Swiftech has been released. The new MCW5000 has arrived.

Swiftech claims that the waterblock out performs all previous waterblocks that they have produced. What's great about this waterblock is the new mounting style. It uses clips just like the ones on the air-cooled heatsinks that most people are used to. Now users don't have to remove the motherboard from the case to mount their waterblocks. Just clip it on and go.

I can't wait to test one of these out. They look so nice and if Gabe says they perform well and even better than the other waterblocks then it does. I do like the new look. There are even a couple of patents on this one for the new technology that they introduced.

I'm not sure when Gabe will release or if he is going to release a TEC model. I figured it would have came out at the same time. Hopefully it will be soon. I

I wonder what the Graphics block for the NV30 will look like? Have you seen the reference design for those cards? Its just like the ABIT OTES. Very nice stuff.

True but there is always a way. Thats part of the fun in overclocking. Getting to totally destroy and torture all of your funn computing gear. I forgot what the MCW462-UT looks like since it has been covered in foam for so long. Kinda sad.

Heck ya, I get that in my stocking and Mama's gonna get something "Special" on X-mas Morning.

Those push in water line connectors rule, I have them in my case and even though they are a larger leak risk than hose barbs they are so much easier to work with.

Ya, thats really nice, cuz, it may be easy but taking out your mobo is a real pain in the arse. you have to take out psu and bolts and pci cards and drives and whatnot.

I'm actually toying with the idea of cutting a hole out of my Mobo tray so I can access the mobo without having to take aything apart. I like the idea but I have to have a reason to take apart the case first.

I tried drilling the holes like that, and I got done with 1 and I was sweating (Florida heat, mid summer, no thanks). I gave up, the next time I take my computer apart I will worry about finishing the job. Thats what I get for buying a MCX462 from Swiftech.

Well it supposedly out-performs all other swiftech blocks so its kinda hard to say. The design looks good though.
