Will DFI BloodIron be powerful enough?

Will the DFI BloodIron to smoothly allow me to overclock the system I am about to get? :

EVGA 512-P3-N841-A3 GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail

G.SKILL 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL5D-4GBPQ - Retail

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Model BX80570E8400 - Retail

I have heard great things about the BloodIron but considering the price is not very high I am beginning to give it second thoughts. Is there a chance that it won't support/allow me to OC my cpu/ram/gpu?

The only thing I'd recommend is buying some Crucial Ballistix to match up with the powerful overclocking that DFI offers. Sure it's 1GB DIMMs but for $53 for 4GB on newegg.com why not?

The 1GB sticks throw me off because I plan to eventually add 2 more 2gb sticks to make it 8. Probably in a year or so. Still unsure about the Ram though.

Don't worry about it. If worse comes to worse, buy a $5 fan and zip-tie it on top.

I use the corsair cooler , it's probably the best one around. the crucial is a great choice. You dont't fancy the new DFI LT X38-T2R LanParty ??

There's also a dk version coming as well.

luck

Looks nice to me also but a bit expensive for just a fan. Slash described a $5 fan ;/

supershanks- the link you posted doesn't work for me. Also I think x38 mobo will be too much for my budget.

The way I see it by the time we need 8GB of RAM, DDR3 will be the standard and it will run so fast that 4GB of it will do

I'm pretty miffed with dfi. THey seem to have reviews of it all over but here in the uk have yet to see it in stock.

What's even worse they just announced a DFI LANParty DK X38-T2R 2nd DFI X38 Mobo
Sorry try this if above doesn't work.
A second Intel X38 Based LANParty DK X38-T2R Motherboard?

LANPARTY LT X38-T2R
