Will DFI BloodIron be powerful enough?
EVGA 512-P3-N841-A3 GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail G.SKILL 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL5D-4GBPQ - Retail Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Model BX80570E8400 - Retail I have heard great things about the BloodIron but considering the price is not very high I am beginning to give it second thoughts. Is there a chance that it won't support/allow me to OC my cpu/ram/gpu? |

The only thing I'd recommend is buying some Crucial Ballistix to match up with the powerful overclocking that DFI offers. Sure it's 1GB DIMMs but for $53 for 4GB on newegg.com why not?

The 1GB sticks throw me off because I plan to eventually add 2 more 2gb sticks to make it 8. Probably in a year or so. Still unsure about the Ram though.

I use the corsair cooler , it's probably the best one around. the crucial is a great choice. You dont't fancy the new DFI LT X38-T2R LanParty ??
There's also a dk version coming as well. luck

Looks nice to me also but a bit expensive for just a fan. Slash described a $5 fan ;/
supershanks- the link you posted doesn't work for me. Also I think x38 mobo will be too much for my budget. |

The way I see it by the time we need 8GB of RAM, DDR3 will be the standard and it will run so fast that 4GB of it will do
