My GFX Card Collection, all of them.
Please note that all dates on the stickers refer to the actual announcement of the cards, not the date they were available, because that could take months. My first post is the cards that I still need, with some pictures attached, if you have one of these, please drop me a line, I would be very grateful, because they are difficult to find. Please note that I haven't bought some yet, because in my opinion they are still a bit too expensive, like the Matrox Parhelia. ![]() List of cards is in the last post, in the rar'd excel file. Much info gathered from here : http://accelenation.com/?ac.id.123.1 Cards still needed : Rare and hard to find : Graphics chips first, then after the dash, the boards on which they appeared. Original ATI Rage chip - ATI Xpression. 3DLabs Gaming Glint (GiGi) chip - Original Creative Blaster VLB CT 6200. NEC PowerVR PCX1 chip - Videologic Apocalypse 3D. Lockheed Martin / Real3D RD3/100. (No pic) NEC PowerVR PVR 250 chip - Videologic NEON 250 SiS 300 Intel i752 3DLabs Permedia III - Permedia Create! SiS Xabre 600 Geforce Ti4800 (not the SE) Trident XP4 (high end is T3) Kyro II SE - Hercules 3D Prophet 4800, Videologic Vivid XS Elite. Never made it to market, floated around in retail channels though. Extremely rare. Quantum3D 100SB Quantum3D SB50 (on eBay right now) 3DFX Voodoo 5 Mac 3DFX Vooodoo 5 6000, I 'might' have found two at a former 3DFX shareholder, he's on holiday right now, and practically don't want them any more, was a failure in his eyes. He'll contact me in a week or so. Cards that are still a bit too expensive, or haven't bought yet. : Matrox Parhelia 3DLabs Wildcat III 7210 3DLabs Wildcat VP 990Pro (bidding in progress) Cards in the Post : Geforce FX 5800 Ultra 'Dust buster'. ![]() When Quantum3D threw away a malfunctioning card, they sometimes cut off the PCI or AGP connector, to prevent anyone using it ie. dumpster diving. Atleast that is what I've been told by people in the know. |
