How many Folding@Home are you running?

Note: Each core would be 1 F@H (So quad core would be 4). Each GPU is 1, and each PS3 is 1

Technically, I'm running two as it's two instances of SMP, but your question says each core as one, so I guess it would be four.

Isn't the SMP version for a quad core processor?

I agree that your request doesn't make as much sense...because even if the SMP runs 4 cores, it's still one client. So as far as clients run I run 4 but that's equal to 13 cores.

I've slowed WAAAYY down for summer, but I am running 4 SMP and 2 GPU2. At peak, I can run 11 SMP and 4 GPU2 ( 2 nVidia and 2 ATI ). I have 7 Quads, a Duo, and 2 Pentium 4.

I try to conserve energy. I use 2 instances of folding@home on my P4. I just joined the Extreme Overclockers team and I'm going to help get us into the top 5.

I used to run folding for about 4-5 hours a day, but since I have prescott, it heats up and it's hot outside, i want to conserve energy so I use it for 2 hours (3 max)

Yep. It was getting up to 30C in my computer room which is also part of my dining room. I've actually have a spare room that isn't used for anything ( except guests ) but I can't fit my desk through the doorway. I have a second room full of computers too. I was only able to get this big desk through the main doorway, through the foyer, and into the dining room. Now I am just too lazy to move these computers.

My AC was also having a hard time as well. I have a 3-ton unit for 1438 sq. ft. and it wasn't even able to maintain 78F w/o running 24/7.

I'm running one on my e6750 and one on the GTX. If I fold 24/7, I can come close to 5000PPD. Just broke 30k today. Didn't fold much yesterday though, only 500 points

Also, does SMP work for dual cores too? And if so, is it faster?

I run 5, using your formula.

I run one SMP, and one GPU2.

Yes, SMP is "multi-core" so any processor running two or more logical cores can use it. Even P4s with hyper-threading can use it.

I have two regular clients going and two GPU clients.
