I just tried here at work and it's also broken for me.

Splave, if you still have the .exe if you could throw it on RapidShare or attach it on here that would be awesome!

Going to flash and see if it allows more room on the core with the more voltage.
Do you still have to uninstall drivers to flash with that one? Or just download, unzip and run? ****, if its that easy Ill plug it up and do it now.

Don't ask why unless you want to join them.
yeah no need to reinstall drivers etc, just unzip, run the .exe it opens a command prompt and says something funny like Im now trying to flash your graphics card haha takes 1 minute then asks to restart. Presto

The plus side is, I no longer have to pull the blue wire to keep it cool, and I can now OC it with CCC sliders, and it actually work at 1280x1024. The negative side is, it will not run over 880 if the ram is above 1050-1075. At 1100 it fails on the second pass. With core lowered to 870 it will run at higher ram speeds though, but its not as fast then.

Also, 880 isnt stable after a couple of runs, and my 12x10 high score is still what it was, so Im guessing Ive got a bottleneck elsewhere. GPU only gets to 87% load when running that test.

Doing this however, is making me want to do a hard mod now
If my 4850 gets replaced, Ill practise on that then do this one as long as it goes well.

Okay, here are my results, I couldn't get stable above 845mhz which isn't any better than the Asus TOP BIOS. With my luck I probably just got a weak card.

I'm assuming if it passes 10 loops it's most likely stable, that's what I went by.

BTW: For some reason I had to reinstall my drivers after flashing...

You get the **** parts? Look at my HD4870! It's the worst one I've seen yet

EDIT: Just tried that fancy new BIOS. Not even a 5MHz increase for me. 795MHz still crashes in Crysis before 10 runs complete.
EDIT2: I finally figured out my problem, so it seems. I was either running at 805MHz or 815MHz core (I can't remember) and it completed several runs of Crysis. However, my fanspeed was set at 80%. My problem is temperatures. Once they get in the 60 range, things get real flakey for stability. There's no way in hell I'm running it at 80% fanspeed though

I'll wait until I have some cash, buy a new Accelero S1 Rev. 2, strap on my NF-P12, and buy a PCI-slot exhaust if there's room. Hopefully that will solve my problem.

Will these work on 8.6 drivers? XP 64-Bit doesn't like 8.7 or 8.8
