What tests would you like to see for 4870X2 Quadfire?

I have a second 4870X2 on its way for a couple weeks in order to do some Quadfire testing. This time I am approaching things a bit different, I am asking you guys what you would like to see tested.

This time around, I am going to test at 1920x1200 only (pointless to do anything less IMO), but I am going to hit a variety of settings. In for sure will be Crysis and CoD4, now you guys tell me what other games or test settings you would like to see.

-Crysis 1.21 x
-CoD4 1.7 x
-Assassins Creed 1.02 x
-HL2 x
-Grid 1.2 x
-World in Conflict 1.009 x
-3DMark06 x
-3DMark Vantage x
-Gears of War -latest x
-Oblivion 1.2 w/ SI x

- 3D Mark Vantage, Performance and Extreme.
- Company of Heroes
- Supreme Commander
- World in Conflict

I'll add more if I think of them, if you don't have any of these games, just send the cards my way, I'll test them out and then I'll be sure I return them...

I have WiC and the 3DMarks.

Isnt SupCom more of a CPU hog than a GPU hog? And isnt CoH a little old?

Supreme Commander is a CPU hog, although it can get pretty GPU demanding when you've got a huge army on screen with shield generators and heavy AA/AF. You can download a program called CoreMaximizer which allows SuppComm to properly use multi-cores, which pretty much rules out a CPU bottleneck. I know my 4870 drops to around 30fps with a lot going on.

CoH can be demanding with everything on maxed out, also if it's patched to the latest versions, which allow more user control over video settings.

The problem at that point is developing a repeatable test. Unless SupCom has a built in bench tool?

I will look into CoH, and I can do GRID for sure. Will look into Pro Street as well.

I forgot about GRID, good call.

SC doesn't have a built in bench, although it would be very easy to repeat certain sequences since it is an RTS.

???

RTS's are nearly impossible to create repeatable sequences for.

Agreed...

I would like to see CPU scaling and bottlencking. I dont believe there is a chip out under air or normal water that can support those monsters...

Crysis Very High w/AA and AF as high as they go
The Witcher Very High w/AA and AF as high as they go
I think with that much horse power you will have toi be running at 5 gigs or better to prevent a CPU bottle neck
Break out the Liquid Nitriogen cooling
I just can not see any current CPU keeping pace if they scale the same way the 4870 do
Hopefully the new 8.8s are ready for primetime

In this case, I am going to try and leave CPU out of the equation as much as possible; my quad will stay at 3.54GHz for the duration of the testing. The scope of the article is to analyze Quad Crossfire scaling compared to a single 4870X2, and potentially compare it to a rig with GTX-280 SLI and Tri-SLI setups, all under various AA scenarios.

In Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance there is a pretty intense cutscene right when the campaign is started. That could be used as a benchmark?
