Looking at Clunks running review of it, I'm in for a treat. The board looks like a winner.

We really need to get more people running some legit, unbiased reviews of boards not everyone is running. The board your receiving, not many people have yet. Also, I'd like to see some concrete data from someone in the know here on the Biostar Tpower I45, Foxconn ELA, etc. Might just get off my arse and do something here soon.

That's one of the reasons why I went with this board. Hopefully I can shed some light from a non-sanctioned pov.

I figured as much, I'm also interested in the DK p45 T2RS-PLUS which was just released not so long ago. It uses 4 phase digital though, not 6 like the x48.

It apparently isn't doing so hot. Hopefully a few bios' later, it'll perform in line with the other P45's out there.

I'm curious what the main difference between the DFI LP Dk X48-T2RSB+ that you're picking up and the DFI LP LT X48-TR2 that I already have is.....it seems that they are both close in price and specs besides that the X48-TR2 has 8 phase power I believe

The 8 phase is the significant difference, and cooling solutions.

Edit: Alright Rev, I'm going to stop cluttering this soon to be review, and delete some of my posts once you being posting results.

na man, it's all good...post away. I'm not a thread nazi for reviews, I'll post everything in the original post. Nothing wrong with a little lead-in pre-review chat.

I look forward to this also. I am looking at some x48's for my q6600 and 4850 to later crossfire. I am between the UT.LT and the Asus rampage formula.

I'd go Ramage Formula. Proven board for quads.

Tweaktown is boasting a 525 fsb with very little tweaking on the Rampage Formula. I'm not sure how much to trust those clown shoes though as their reviews seem skewed most of the time. Do they ever post a bad review? lol Not saying that the Rampage is a certified POS though, it's a great board.

skewed is the word. There are plenty of other good Rampage reviews out there, and probably the 6000+ reply thread over at XS is the best resource. Just skim passed the guys would have hardware manuf. avatars....they're usually the fluffers.
