smp client wont install without windows user password

I cant get the smp client to install.. it tells me i have to have a windows vista password set basicly.. i dont want a password on my account as i'm the only one here to get in my computer.. thats dumb they make you have a password on your windows just to use smp... when i try to leave the pass blank it wont go through either.. this is all during the install.bat in the cmd prompt..

Yes. Password-protecting your user account is a requirement for the SMP client. It really isn't a big deal as you can have Windows automate the logon process. I have 8 machines running SMP and the account passwords are all identical.

Here are instructions on how to automate the logon for Vista.

yeah that totaly sucks.. i wish they would fix that issue.. i guess i'll run on my 8800GT and two cores.. it lets me do the client only version and the tasktray version at the same time and it's utilizing two cores.. i just hope its not doing the same project

Dual core or quad core machine? If you have a dual core and running the GPU client, then running the CPU client in uni-processor mode along with the GPU is recommended anyway.
