DFI LANParty DK X48 T2RSB+ Problem

Here is my new problem. The digital LED reads 50. I dunno what that error number means, but it has to do with the RAM, cause when it happens. I just swap slots and it boots up fine. It happens again, I swap the DIMM slots back and it works.

I dunno why DFI does not include a legend in their manual on what the digital LED readings mean.

2. USB keyboard and mouse - Didnt work
3. Put USB in monitors plugins - Didnt work
4. Tried Windows XP 32bit and redid the previous steps. NOTHING!!!!

When I use only USB, the screen freezes in blue just before it goes to the Setup screen asking you if you want to "Continue", "Repair" or "Quit"

Nothing works. Infact I could get into the BIOS, into the ABS, no problems. It doesnt matter what I do, pretty much the only thing I have not done is clear the cmos, but its nearly impossible to grab with pliars as the jumper is on the back pannel.

Guys/Girls if you have any suggestions. Please and Thank you.

Additional Comment:

i guess it just worked itself out. i got through the problem. just incase anyone is wondering. you can not put a Ultra 120 Extreme on this board if you want the air to flow from right to left. it goes up and down tho. since my case is not setup for this, i will be trying a core contact. if anyone has this experience as a positive one, please let me know. thank you

I have experience with the board and it's been 100% pleasant. I have a review of it in the Intel Motherboards section, go check it out. If you want to see what can be done with this board quickly, click my link

Never had that man. Are you trying to up your vcore using VID Control? The only time I get a stop at 50 is when I use VID control above 1.3v. The codes are actually random, but 50 has popped up a few times.

Are you on the latest bios? 8/29 iirc.

i havent even touched overclocking yet on the board. I saw a BIOS yesterday night before I went to bed, but since Im at work, I haevnt had time to check if my board has that bios. I will after work.

My other problem is how this board does not support .5 multipliers. I was told it did support .5 multis and I cant even use my E8500 for that reason. thats why I bought the E8500 over the E8400.

This is my first DFI board to really give me problems since the first crossfire board....rdx200.

It does support .5 multi's...you have to enable it.

Is that link showing me, How I am supposed to click Enter under CPU option for the .5 multi? IF so, thank you for the screenshot?

What does n/2 option mean?

It's to show you that it's there and I have it disabled. I have no idead what n2 means, but when I enable it, I can only use multipliers of 6.5-9.5.

Any time man and if you need any other help with it don't hesitate. I've had the board for over a month now, and I've pretty much got the full jist of it
