DFI DK P45-T2RS vs DFI DK X48-T2RSB
So I've been directed towards these two mobos, the iP45 and the iX48 chipsets. The X48 is more expensive, but is it more worth it for what you get? I'd rather get away with the cheapest stuff, but I don't mind paying that little bit extra for that bit more performance. I'm planning to get these things along with whichever of these boards I choose, please advise me if you think I'm making a bad decision of components... cheers... - Q6600 (hoping to O/C to 3.0GHz+, is that possible with either board, whilst achieving good temps?) - 2 GB DDR2 1066 (PC-8500) OCZ Reaper HPC - 250 GB WD HDD SATAII 16MB Cache - ATi HD 4870 512/1GB DDR5 - Mate of mine said 512 was better for smaller monitors like mine, is this true? - Antec Three Hundred Gaming Case (Features look alright, without spending £100+... should I splash out a bit on the case? would it be worth if for a nice cool O/C'ed system?) - OCZ 600W Stealth eXtreme (Do i need a more beefy PSU?) - Not sure about O/S, Vista Home Prem or XP Pro - Vista's cheaper but I prefer XP... So some feedback would be great if thats OK! ![]() Thanks for all your help in advance... |

Both of those boards missed the mark. DFI brought out the plus version to fix some issues and do the boards right.
I have the X48 T2RSB Plus and I simply love it. |

Missed the mark? What do you mean by that?
