Hi, i am new with the water cooling business, i need to buy a case, power suplly for my 2 x 9800 Gx2 and buy a water cooling. I just bought Zalman 9700 NT but it didnt work well for me. I have rosewill $20worth(free after rebate) fan&hs gives me same temp. So i decided to move to watercolling.

i have some choices below

Thermaltake Kandalf comes built in water cooling around $270

Antec twelve hundredit is $159shipped +ocz elitexstrame 1000w $189 after rebate

Xclio 1000 + Xclio diamondpower 1080w $420

Boreas MTEC it is just dream icant get this because this one is like $750 without psu

i may also buy this power supply Zalman ZM850 850w it is around $150
or this zalman gs 1000 case it is big and good, good cable managment but insuficient fans.

I need water cooling recomendation for antec or Xclio built.

cOOLIT eliminator thermoelectiric water cooler $160 how is this one?

sWIFTEC H20 $130

I checked it. For some reason i didnt like it. i also checked its other version Cosmos 1000 but i didnt like it either.
actually i like CoolerMaster Stacker Nvidia better. My favorite cases so far is Antec and Xclio. i am not in rush though.

How about my case? would you keep it or pay that much money and buy one of these cases? and spend that money for water cooler+power supply?

I also found good deal with Antec signature series 850w has $80 combo discount with Antec 1200
and Antec True power 1000w this has $60 combo discount with antec 1200. i dont know if 850w is enough so i will go with 1000w, cus i am gonna upgrade my cpu and motherboard when i get tax refunds so i want to have a future proof PSU

ahah even with a new cpu it shouldnt be using toooo much more power than it is now.

when ya go water cooling do you want everything to be inside the case or dont you mind bits dangling out.
if ya dont want a nasty radiator hanging out the back go for a nice big case like the antec 1200

are ya moving to phenom ii or i7?

no you cannot. with ddr3, the pins are in different positions. you cant even fit ddr2 ram in the slot. whether you can purchase an adaptor of some sort is past me.

I've used Xclio cases in a couple of builds for people and was not impressed with the quality of the cases. the Antec are great cases.

I don't know about the higher wattage Xclio PSUs, but last year I bought three Xclio Great power 550 watt PSU's. All died within the year and I'm still waiting for their replacements months later.

thnx for head up, i ordered antec 1200. I checked it at Microcenter and it was impressive. Good material, nice air flow, designed for water cooling, big and capable good cable menagement. I was in dubt till see your post about xclio. I also bough BFG ES 800w SLI, C_frire ready(9800 Gx2 ready) power suplly(there was a good rebate deal $69 and freeshipping). This has so many good reviews from customers and websites like anandtech and others.
