Should be able to assuming you are letting it cycle using a thermostat. If you are going for absolute lowest temp meaning it has to stay running all the time then I am not sure. You are probably ok as long as the compressor does get too hot (above 80c I believe) which if you can touch it for about 5 seconds with you hand before you burn yourself then you should be below that. Drewmeister would be best to answer this. Just really depends on your goal for cooling. I leave mine running 24/7 but it cycles since I have a thermostat on it and I only set it to between 8-10c for sub ambient cooling. I didn't want to have to worry about condensation.

It will be running full throttle all the time.
The one time I left it running for twelve hours it still didn't get very hot. I could hold my hand to any part of the compressor for longer than a minute. |

In most cases the compressor will last longer running constantly vs "constant" cycling. The problem with your unit though is the way you have the evaporator submerged vertically. This could trap oil especially when operating at lower temps/back pressure. If you can get that evaporator positioned horizontally then I would say it's ok as long as the compressor isn't getting hot and you have safe wiring. Keep in mind that you're going to need one heck of an insulation job on your hardware to operate at those temps 24/7.

Thank you for your input. I'll have to get a new cooler so I can correct the evaporator position

The problem with rebending those lines is that the tubing has already been stressed and may crack. It may not be worth the risk of ruining the a/c. Ive been thinking about this some... you may be ok operating at or warmer than -20c = 20psi suction pressure for r22 refrigerant. If you're cooling a core i7 + gpu then the temps will most likely be warmer than -20c so you should be ok.
