Well unfortunately I am being forced to heavily slow down my folding for an unknown amount of time. I most probably will not be running my rigs more then 8hr a day from May 1st and I will only be running 3 GPU for that time. My PPD will drop to 4k to possibly 0k.

I've noticed that runlinux has had to back off his production as well. This will only leave 2 of our members going full steam, so keep it up guys. The rest of us will contribute what we can I guess. With any luck my financial noose may loosen depending on how this summer turns out.

My goal if the money flows will be getting a GTX 295 and use it with my 9800 GX2. So I may be pretty much gone for now but when I return it will be with a vengeance. I will want my spot back after Herman takes it. Keep my spot warm, I'll be back.

The heat is in full swing here, so I have cut back to about 30K per day and will probably idle the GTX 280 as well. My GTX 295 is idle now since it is getting up close to 80C. The only plans I have are to swap a 9800GTX+ with a GTX 285.

Actually, I am cutting back drastically too. Just going to run the PS3 for now, and hopefully save enough to get better cooling for my rigs, so I don't have to keep the A/C on high all the time (have to keep the computer room at about 60F to keep the GPUs reasonable, even underclocked). Depending on how things go the next couple weeks,I may be able to get the SMP clients going again, and possibly even the 8800GTs..but the GX2s are way too hot.

i kinda lost the will to fold a while back. I sold my main rig and it broke my heart...

I have a ps3 folding on and off as well as my work rig. I am trying to get back into it s my friend's wife has terminal breast cancer and has about 2 years to live. she is in her early 20's and they just got married... now that breaks my heart and i wish things like that never had to happen.

I just need to find the time to get folding up on my wife's rig and i can be getting about 4-5k ppd again. no more gpu folding for me till i can get bills paid.

I have not really been going full steam myself. The summer always brings a slow down to the folding for everyone. My PS3 is still folding non stop and my 4850 folds when ever I am not gaming. I have been thinking about getting a 260 to fold with to boost my points.
Run sorry to hear about your friends wife. I hope they will be able to spend the next 2 years enjoying life. My prayers to them. My wife lost her brother last November to cancer. 2 weeks after he found out he had cancer he passed. I truly hope that they will have close to the 2 years to be able to love and cherish each other.

Well after having moved I realized I had run out of money. So at the moment my systems are back to stock and all folding is off until I get out of the poor house . I look forward to getting it going again, maybe in a few months.
