1.8 to a 2.4

Would I notice a big difference if I jumped from my current P4 1.8gHz to a 2.4gHz??? I'm just wondering if it's worth spending the extra 200 or so dollars to upgrade. Thanks for any replies guys...

If it's a 1.8 willy to a 2.4b you'll definately notice a change in performance.

O ya that would be a huge diff

if you have a 1.8a at 2ghz + then no unless that is a good mobo and you have ****ty ram then the 2.4a would be my choice since it has a higher multiplyer and will OC nice with not so good of ram

Most 1.8a northwood cores can run at 2.4b speed anyway.

I dunno what version my 1.8 is...I just looked for a good processor and a good price and got it. How would I be able to tell what version it is...and what is the difference between "a" and "b" versions? I am very confused...all I want is a faster ***kin processor...lol.
