Safire Radeon 9700 or ATI 9700 PRO

I can save myself about $110 bux with going with the Safire 9700, was wondering if I could clock the Safire to a 9700 pro, also was wondering if Safire is a good make?

my Sapphire had an ATI stock cooler on it.
