CPU temps seem to be high

I just built a new PC and after running Prime95 for 1 hour my temp was at 69c and my idle temp before starting was at 46c. OC'd to 3.6. Do these temps seem to be a little high. What can I do to improve on these temps. Thanks in advance Vince

Those temps aren't all that bad considering your OC. D0 stepped cpu? What were the voltages at that OC? I think idle temp should be lower. I idle at 40-41C at 3.4GHz using a TRUE w/dual fans, room temp 76F.

If you're not already running a push-pull on the Noctua NH-U12P you could add a second fan. Also, you could try turning off Hyper-Threading which would drop your temperatures a little. Your load temperature looks pretty good, idle is a bit high ... might want to try re-applying your TIM and reseating the heatsink. Your load temperatures are what really matter though.

Remount the heatsink to ensure no mistakes where made, is an option.
But it probably wouldn't help much though
