New Fan. Is it the best?

I recently brought myself a new Xigmatek XLF-F1453 140mm fan of ebay.

http://www.xigmatek.com/product/accessory-xlf-f1453.php

I spent a fair time researching to get the most CFM. This claims to push 63.5 CFM for under 16 dBA.

I wasnt to worried about noise since my case sits under my desk, and honestly it doesnt really bother me that much since most of the time I have music pumped.

But now that it brought and paid for I thought I would see if there was a better one that I can now cry over not getting?

There are fans which push over 200cfm, however they're extremely noisy. I find anything under 25db is good, because after that it just becomes annoying.

Yeah I guess 60db is a little over the top. Tho now Im not so happy because I didnt even find anything like that on my travels. After looking around, what I got was the best I could find.

Yeah I have a Thermaltake Soprano DX. Needed a new 140mm fan for the front intake. The one that I have ATM really isnt cutting it, as its my main intake and is quite pathetic.

Yeah I guess it does. But I dont see 63.5 CFM to be that bad. And I didnt pay that much for it (gotta love ebay) so I guess at the least even if I get another one, I still have a backup.

The bottom line is, if its better than you had, does the job you need it to do, at ok temps, then its fine, the will always be better, louder faster...........
You have a decent fan, does it do the job?

That is a fairly nice fan. I do not mind noise myself.

Restricted access for a month leaves Pro Status posting in the hardware sections now. I guess I can put my knowledge to a better use, rather than posting random stuff in the off topic sections.

Be sure to update us on how it performs.

I have 2 Scythe (500 & 1200RPM) and a Noctua in 140mm fans. I'm not terribly happy with any of them. I can make them run quiet or push air, but not both. I'm having better luck with 120mm fans ATM.

Update on my XLF-F1453. Got it a little while back but I was waiting for my controller to come in the mail. Hooked it all up yesterday.

It doesnt seem to bad. Took my temps down 2-3 degrees C. Runs nice and quiet tho. Unless I have it at 100%, I cant even hear it over any background noise (i.e light music, even talking) tho my case is under a desk so that blocks a lot.

Looks really nice. It has semi transperant fluro orange blades with a white led, which is nice and bright, but not to glairy.
