Ah. Yeah, I noticed my CPU is a little picky about the ambient temps. I can only push past 4.66 when my room is particularly chilly. Maybe the combination of slightly inferior silicon and air cooling is why you're having trouble stabilizing at 4.3.
Turn off HT and see how much farther you can push that sucker. Your temps will drop a ton in case you don't remember from your old rig. |

UPDATE:
Still tweaking settings. Just re-seated HSF/re-applied TIM (that saved me a few Cs) strange thing is, it seems stable at 4ghz+HT with stock (or less) voltage, but to go much higher (with or without HT) it needs a HUGE jump in voltage, it has to be around 1.4 to be stable...just seems strange to me... |
