The 5850 is a great card, I bought 2 XFX for crossfire about 4 weeks ago and they chew through anything I throw at them, on top of that they oc like beasts, most will easily do over 900MHz on stock cooling. I have mine at 925/1200 atm and, for me at least, that is a large GPU oc although I have no doubt they could go much higher, however its summer here and 2 in CF..


also if you oc 5850 CF to 810 core it beats a default 5970 in every aspect, like pixel fill rate, texture fill rate, shader ops etc and if you oc 5850 CF to 775 it pretty much matches it.
