Mega Shadow

Hi there! I have a Mega Shadow with two 120mm fans in push-pull.

I'm currently using the fan assembly out of a Coolermaster V10 - the fans look exactly like their "sickle-flow" fans (which I love) but are PWM controlled and can spin up to 2400rpm (instead of the normal 2000).

I just found out that I can't order a replacement V10 fan assembly and since one of the two in mine is starting to stall I'm kinda worried.

So I wanted to ask - could I switch to normal sickle-flows without too much loss in cooling power? Now I think of it the V10 fans did whine a bit when at full blast versus the whoosh of the sickle-flow at a slightly slower rpm.

Cooler is oriented with exhaust out the top of the case (and there's another exhaust fan up there too).

Thoughts? Thanks!
