kekeke I just emailed mwave.com about whether i can RMA the cpu i receive from them if the stepping is different than the one listed on their website

I live really close to mwave like 5 miles away, and I bought numerous computer parts from them.

Oh yeah I donno if this is hot, but they have the ASUS GF4 Ti-4200 128 MB 8X AGP video card for 147.00, veerrrry tempting...

Well guyz here's the good news and the bad news.

Bad news: I decided to keep the pos. I figured 15% restocking fee plus the shipping, imma lose about 35bux ( dam newegg) So i just thought i'd squeeze it for evrything she's got even if i fry it.

Good news: after my migrain, cursing up a storm, i re-installed it back into the rig and burned it up.

She's runnin rock stable @ 186x13=2417Mhz still burning it in @ 2v. I have the worst luck with cpu's. Just about evryone i've gotton needs 2v to run, dang it! I've yet to get a cpu that will run with less voltage.

Well sportsfans, here are the pics:

Runnin Toast & F@H rock stable

I ran Hot Cpu all nite with no problems @ 1.95v. Also ran Prime95, but it locked up. Had to bump up the vcore a notch to 2v. So far so good. Imma leave it @ 2v until it burns in, then keep upping the fsb. Right now she won't pass 186 no matter what voltage i throw at the ram.

Oh, btw RFIRE, i traded an old CDRW for the mini copper orb to a guy on amdmb. An even swap. Mini copper orb is brand new!

Ahhh..much better.......

You must be alittle happier. Right?

I have to pump 2.05v into my 1700+ JIUCB 0250 to get it to 2184mhz stable.

**** thing will probably fry within a few months!

I want a 1700+ JIUHB!!!! Heard they run at 2.2ghz @ 1.85v or less!

Eh, i feel so-so. I'm not happy over this pos, but i might as well get my money's worth. I'll prolly sell the 1800 and get some money back, then try for another one.

Sorry to hear that it wasn't too great, but 2400 mhz aint too bad. Let the AS3 burn in and you should get better overclocks too. I know I gained about 120 mhz after the AS3 settled in. Does she have anymore left?

Thanx EAMD. Not sure if she does. She's really stubborn like my 1800 was. I gotta force her into giving me more. She won't give it up without a fight.
