I did this also to my 754 Sempron, it netted me 100 mhz on the oc. That is about it though.

If I remember correctly it would idle around 35c with the lib and then dropped to 31c are the de-lid. It made a much higher difference on load though. I think it was around 8 to 10 deg difference on 90-100% load. I had to get a special cooler for that board, for it to work, due to the CPU being shorter. If it is a 939 sempy, then i don't know what to recommend, but if it is a 754 I used the holes in the motherboard to mount up a Zalman cooler. |

o cool cool, i just experimenting with this, i really wanna de-lid or lap my Phenom so im testing them both on diff processors
