Changing CPU host frequency has no effect?!

Hello, my mb is ga-x38-ds4 with latest bios (F6) , when i go to overclock my cpu (q6600) by increasing host freq from 266 and f10 rebooting, the system reboots fine but posts 267mhz fsb ?! and in cpu-z it says the same. But when i reload back into the bios it says the cpu host frequencys 333 or 400 or whatever i set it to. Ive tried 333 380 400 but it seems to be stuck at 267mhz. btw changing the cpu clock multiplier in bios has an effect but it seems changing fsb does nothing, also this just started happening today, it was working before. help plz!

So in CPU-z, it shows 266FSB, and the max multi for the CPU?
