Impressive craig1029

I'm pretty unsophisticated.

Sure am curious as to what you're using.

Care to share?

If it's bad forum form (to ask) I apologize.

He's probably got a single 12-core or higher processor. I believe that would kick out approximately 80k per WU.

Thanks SniperX103.

I feel like I'm riding a mobility scooter -- with a Bugatti Veyron on my six.

So completely off-topic... but you actually have an EVO running NOS?

Actually, based on his daily PPD, I think he's running either a SR-2 with dual hex or quad socket 48-core monster. Not too surprising.

Gets too hot to make pansies in the summer. So I OC'd an '84 Evo. The bike was upgradable -- so the heads, jugs, and brake calipers are the only things left HD. Had to polish them tho. Engine is all Jims, and S&S, to handle an NX 50 shot. Twin bottles mount on down tubes. Somewhere around 140 hp.

You ride?

(Googled "12 core cpu". Those Magny-Cours are pretty baddazz!)

To answer, your question, no I don't ride... yet. I've been debating about getting a bike of some sort just to save on gas. Haha...

Either way, both the bike and the computer look good. Back on subject.

Thanks Deluded. Been reading up on Cloud, SR-2, and the like. There's some really 'Impressive' gear out there. I had no idea.

Anybody have an opinion on the ppd difference between running my 1055T (stock for now) along with the GTX 570 (24/7) -- compared to just the GTX 570? I'm seeing about 12.5K ppd on just the gpu.

Embarrassed to say; my two attempts, at -smp transition, cut my contribution to zero. I'm trying to catch up on user skills but, I'm so far behind. "Advanced Users" cautions are there for me.

Here is the specs. Running SMP Big AV, do not have GPU's running yet.

2600K-45X100 (Trying to push it close to 5)
Asus Evo Rev3
EVGA 560 TI SLi
Mushskin Redline 6GB (3X2GB) 1600

Sorry, not SR2 or 48-core monster here.

Thanks craig1029. Both for posting, and your contribution to 11314.

Maybe even more impressive -- since there's no 'monster' about.

Pssst... Anybody wanna buy a 1055T?

Cheap?!?

Yeah, but if you look at his numbers, that's a CPU only. GPU WU's would be small points and a lot more of them.

Correct, I had the 560's going about a month ago when the temps were down they were averaging around 16K a piece and completing about 2-3 WU's per update between the two of them. Will fire them back up this winter.

Right now i am running CPU only since summer has hit here, and there has been a break in the 95 degree weather. Once we get back into the high 90's i will either shut it down for a few months or just run it at night.

I did a couple test runs and was averaging out to about 65-70K PPD with all three running.

Just be happy you didn't have the earliest day in recorded history over 100 degrees this year (Texas had it ) f'ing 150$ for electic this month and thats to keep it at 78F (and at only 0.07/kw).
